Amateur Golf Tours


Single Figure Golfer Challenge Tour

The Single Figure Golfer Challenge Tour is a series of competitions - Order of Merit tournaments, Matchplay knockouts and one-off Opens - for players with a handicap of under 10. Golfers are competing for the chance to play in a 10-man team captained by Peter McEvoy against former Ryder, Walker and Solheim Cup players in the two-day Challenge Cup Final at Trevose Golf Club in October. Golfing Days Amateur Tour

The Golfing Days Amateur Tour is a series of golf competitions for male golfers of all standards who are seeking competitive golf at quality courses. The 2010 schedule can be seen below. Eight tournaments take place throughout the year at some of England's finest 'hidden gems' along with prizes up for grabs at each event. There is also a season-long order of merit where the overall winner receives a great prize thanks to the main tour sponsor, the Andalucia Tourist Board. Gtour Golf Series

Run by golfers for golfers the Gtour Golf Series and Order of Merit is the UK's amateur golf tour for wannabe Tigers and Sorrenstams. Whether you play off scratch or 28 (36 for ladies) you are welcome to take part in a great days golf and make many new friends with like minded golfers. Amatour

The idea behind Amatour is to provide the competitive handicap golfer both male and female with their very own amateur golf tour. The tour is split into categories, Scratch and Handicap, both with order of merits. Players are welcome to play in any event with the best eight finishes counting towards the Order of Merits. At each tournament players will accumulate points which will go towards these Order of Merits. The tour will have four majors where points will count double for which players will have to qualify. All Tour Events are played over 18 Holes and all players are welcome at any event. Find out more about Amatour.

People's Open Golf Tournament

POGT provides amateur club golfers the chance to play an annual event based on the same format faced by the top stars who battle for glory in The Open - and for those who go all the way, the final round will be at St. Andrews Old Course... the very same course which hosts the 2010 Open Championship!
