It is totally FREE to use our website.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that all the information is correct Golf Empire are not held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies on the website, including on online entry forms. Competitors are advised to check and confirm all details are correct with the host golf club prior to entering/playing.
It is recommended that golfers using Golf Empire entry forms to enter open golf competitions check the following information with the host club: 1. Dress Rules. 2. If Handicap Certificates will be required on the day. 3. If metal spikes can be worn on the golf course. 4. If winners or their representatives are required to attend the presentation. 5. If catering facilities will be available on the day and if a booking is required. 6. If caddies are allowed. 7. If buggies are available and if a booking is required. 8. How ties will be decided. 9. If refunds will be given to withdrawals. 10. Local rulings. 11. Full terms and conditions of each tournament.
Other points to note: Senior competitions are usually for golfers 55+ but always confirm with host golf club. Post dated cheques are usually not accepted.
Competitors are advised to arrange their own insurance cover against insurance risks when playing at other golf course, eg: Theft & Accidents.
Most events are 18 hole competitions unless specified otherwise.
Golf Empire is not responsible for the content of external websites or targeted ads.
We reserve the right to publish the names of any competition winners.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your consent.
You can check the information that we hold about you by e-mailing us at info@golfempire.co.uk. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
We collect e-mail addresses in one of 2 ways: 1. Visitors choose to add their e-mail address to our list via one of the clearly identifiable areas of the site (eg: open competition updater). 2. By entering competitions.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent, and you can at any time have yourself removed from our e-mail database by using the clearly identifiable method at the bottom of any communication we send you.
We will never pass on your e-mail address, or any other details to a 3rd party without your consent.
