Yorkshire Classic Golf Championship

The Yorkshire Classic Golf Championship is a must-do golfing experience for any amateur golfer. It is a 54 hole individual Stableford or a pairs Betterball competition using full handicap allowance of 3 rounds played over 3 of Yorkshire’s finest courses.

The first round is on 2nd May at the delightful Fulford Golf Club, situated only a mile out of the centre of York.

Day 2 on 3rd May takes players to Alwoodley Golf Club, Leeds, designed by famous golf course designer, Alister MacKenzie.

Finally the third round on 4th May is played out at Moortown Golf Course, Leeds, another MacKenzie design but also the home of The Ryder Cup in 1929.

Tee times for both day 1 and 2 will be allocated a week prior to competition starts. Day 3 players will be playing in score order – leaders being the last out!

Three stunning courses for any competitive amateur golfer to take pride in having competed at.



Set within 30 minutes of each other the 3 courses are consistently rated in the top 5 best courses in Yorkshire guaranteeing an enjoyable true test of competition golf.
