Mixed Golf Competitions are where the pair or team is made up of a mixture of male and female golfers. |
Senior Golf Competitions are only open to golfers over a certain age, usually 55 years but in some cases this can be higher or lower. |

Pairs Golf Competitions are where two golfers compete as a pair, usually in a 4BBB format but can also be a greensome or Texas Scramble. |
Team Golf Competitions usually consist of either 3 or 4 golfers competing as a team. The most popular formats are Am-Am's, Bowmakers and Texas Scrambles. |

Ladies Golf Competitions are exclusively for lady golfers. There are a wide variety of formats with events normally played off the red tees. |
Scratch Golf Competitions are played without any handicap allowance, usually open to single figure golfers or in many instances category 1 golfers only. |

Junior Golf Competitions are specially for young golfers, usually under the age of 18. |
Individual Golf Competitions are for single golfers playing for themselves, usually in a medal/strokeplay format but sometimes a Stableford. |

Rabbits Golf Competitions are for golfers of a mid-range handicap only, normally between 12 and 24. |
